Thank you for using BuildYourTrip. Your privacy matters, and this app is built to keep your information on your device. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
BuildYourTrip does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. We have no servers and no user accounts. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Trips, items, dates, prices, companions, receipt photos, and any text you paste are stored only on your device (and in your own iCloud or device backups, if you have those enabled). We have no access to this information.
When you paste a booking confirmation, the text is analyzed entirely on your device to fill in item details. On supported devices this may use Apple’s on-device intelligence. This text is not sent to us or to any server.
If you use the map feature, the addresses you entered are sent to Apple to convert them into map locations and to display the map. This is handled by Apple’s Maps services and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store this information, and the app does not track your location.
The app asks for permission only when you use a related feature, and the resulting data stays on your device:

BuildYourTrip does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
